She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward and Vera Berry (Garlough); her husband John R. Powell; her brother Thomas Berry; and her stepsons, Tom and Terry Powell.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Willeman (Ed), Dave Bryan (Beth) and Donald Bryan; her stepchildren, Jay Powell, Tim Powell and Jerry Powell; her grandchildren, Dana Howard (Shawn) and Kascy Cutlip (Robin); her great grandchild Alexandria Howard; and her siblings, Don Berry (Dorothy), Jim Berry, William Berry (Delores), Nancy Farish and Martha Strome (Darrel). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
