He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bourekas and Maria Bourekas (Kontos); his wife Mary Petticrew; and his siblings, Dr. James Bourekas and Tresa Stavlas (Bourekas).
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Katherine Bourekis; his nephews, Dr. George Bourekis (Christina) and Gerald Stavlas (Victoria); and his niece Maria Markopoulos (Jerry Markopoulos). He is also survived by many cousins; grand nephews and nieces; several Godchildren; and many dear friends.
