Luther Horn, Jr., a cherished family man, respected electrician, and proud Army veteran, passed away on September 23, 2025, in Springfield, Ohio, at the age of 66. Born on October 29, 1958, in Martin, Kentucky, Luther's life was defined by his unwavering dedication to his loved ones and his passion for the simple joys of life.
Luther's journey began as the beloved son of the late Luther Horn, Sr. and Ruby (Fletcher) Horn. His early years in Kentucky were filled with the warmth of a close-knit family, including his siblings and his late stepfather, Kenneth Mullins. Luther's formative years were marked by the values of hard work and the importance of family, principles that would guide him throughout his life.
After serving his country with honor, Luther established himself as a skilled electrician, a trade that not only showcased his talent but also reflected his commitment to providing for his family. His work ethic and integrity earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike.
Luther's heart was truly at home, surrounded by his loving grandkids. He is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia Horn, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories, his children Matthew Ryan Horn and Shania Marie Horn (Camden Jay Roberts), who were the pride of Luther's life. His joy was multiplied with the arrival of his grandchildren, Kadence Ray Roberts, Aaralyn Crosson, James Bolen, Jr., and Jaelynn Bolen, and the anticipation of the arrival of Baby Roberts.
Luther's legacy is carried on by his brothers, Gregg (Dee) Horn and Kenny (Beth) Horn, his sisters, Lorri Cox, Diane (Gary) Clingerman, and Nyoka (Ronnie) Lewis, along with many loving nieces and nephews.
