She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Millard and Ona Millard (Fyffe); her husband Larry Maurer; and her daughter Joni Hamaker. She is survived by: her boyfriend Jim Amburgey; her sons, Joey Alkire, Jerry Alkire (Tammy) and Jimmy Alkire (Tammie); her grandchildren, Tabitha Blankenship, Paige Miller, Corey Hamaker, Casey Alkire, Kyle Alkire and Joseph Alkire; her great grandchildren, Brandon Blankenship, Nathalie Blankenship, Julian Miller and Kenzlee Alkire; and her siblings, Fran, Eddie, Shirley, Juanita, Darlene and Carol.
