We are sad to announce that on August 30, 2022, at the age of 78, Maria J. Luster of Springfield, Ohio, born in La Junta, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Atilano Montoya and Lucinda Montoya (Lucero); her husband Carl; her son Michael Luster; and her grandson Michael Yates.

She is survived by : her daughters, Sue Schwamberger (Glenn), Betty Richards (Dick) and Carla Luster; her grandchildren, Jimmy Yates (Angie), Jaime Yates, Hayleigh Mollett, Rocky Ratliff (Summer), AJ Sentieri (Mindy), Kim Weatherhead (Jim), Jeff Ratliff (Kelly), Amber Kile (Mike), Shelly Dason (Ken) and David Richards; her great grandchildren, Linda, Michael, Daisy, Ja'Dyn, Ja'Niyah, Waylon Yates, Rylee, London Ratliff, Kami Sentieri, Jackson, Dylan, Beckett, Parker Weatherhead, Mike, Tyler (Samantha), Kayla McCoy, Addison, Westin Kile, Courtney Barnett (Mike), Caitlin Thompson (Joe) and Chase Richards-Siepel; and her siblings, Tillie Martinez, Manuel Montoya (Eleanor) and Albert Montoya. She is also survived by ten great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
