She was predeceased by: her parents, John Capen and Susan Capen (Shaw); her husband Samuel; her daughters, Susan Day and Patricia Day; and her siblings, John Capen and Carolyn Knight.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Reynolds, Jeffrey E. Day and Alice Conrad; and her grandsons, Kenneth, David (Douglas Reynolds) and Zachary Myers. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Joseph Church.
