He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett DeMent and Mary DeMent (Dennison); his siblings, Fleta Hoffman, Orris DeMent (Maria) and Virginia Teach (Kenneth); his parents-in-law, Bonnie and Rodney Gragg; and his brother-in-law Roger Gragg.
He is survived by: his wife Joan DeMent (Gragg); his children, Jan Rees, Sheila Brugger (Bill), Gregory DeMent (Jennifer) and Max; his grandchildren, Brandon Hale (Melissa), Courtney Craig (Cory), Colton DeMent (Hayli) and Cayden DeMent; his great grandchild Haisley LeeAnn Maxine DeMent; and his sister-in-law Betty Lou Gragg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
