He was predeceased by: his father Howard Henderson. He is survived by: his mother Charlotte Applin; and his aunts and uncles, Delores Hargrose (Mike), Linda Dagey, Matthew, Andre and Howard Applin. He is also survived by numerous cousins and many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Nicky's name to The Crabill Homestead, c/o Clark County Historical Society, 117 South Fountain Ave., Springfield.
