He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence E. McLean and Marie McLean (Dugan); his brothers, Frank and Tom; and his grandson Logan.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen (Deyhle); his son Timothy McLean (Julie); his stepdaughter Julie Runyan; his grandson Corey; and his sisters-in-law, Joan McLean and Sharon McLean. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
