She was predeceased by: her parents, Elzie McConnaughey and Myrtie McConnaughey (Cloyd); her husband Charlie Scurlock; her daughter Mindy Smith; and her siblings, Betty Pearson and E. J. McConnaughey.
She is survived by: her children, Buddy Clark (Sharon), Dale Clark and Scot Clark (April); and her nephew Terry Sullivan. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
