He is survived by: his wife Patricia Merwine (Spitler); his grandchildren, Renee Barnett (Brandon), Jack Shane (Jasmine), Jayson Shane (Victoria) and Aaron Shane (Kayla); his sister-in-law Margie Powers (Harold); and his nephews, Jerry and Jeff.
