She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburt Daniels and Vadie Daniels (Fairchild); her husband Dewey Griffith; her grandson Jason Sparrow (Sarah); and her siblings, Verlia Mae VanHoose, Harry and Horace Sloan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vickie L. Shaffer and Deborah S. Sparrow; her grandsons, Shaun Shaffer, Aaron Voland (Stephanie Boyer) and Jeremy Stumbo; and her sister-in-law Grethel Preston. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
