It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Penny Richards of Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on October 30, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Cooper and Rosetta Cooper (Rickman); her husband Jeff Richards; and her son Justin Cooper. She is survived by: her daughter Crystal Richards; her grandchildren, Amiyah and Nia; and her siblings, Bucky Cooper (Penny), Ralph Cooper (Jan), Candy Arnett, Darla Severt, Paul Cooper (Jackie) and Curtis Cooper (Tina). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Kenney Zechman Funeral Home (1002 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
