With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Peter Joseph Mullen of Springfield, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mullen and Mary Mullen (Fanny); and his siblings, Pat, Todd Mullen, Mary Clark and Marty Light.
He is survived by: his wife Chris Mullen (Mertens); his sons, Peter Mullen and Matthew Mullen (Susan); his grandchildren, Cassandra, Mallory and Ryan; his brother Joseph Mullen (Cathy); and his siblings-in-law, Sue Mullen, Jeannie Mullen, Molly Mertens, Sally Monsey and Alan Mertens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Conroy Funeral Home (1660 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505). A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Catholic Central Boys Basketball program.
