He is survived by: his son Philip Edwards, Jr. (Lisa).
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Second Baptist Missionary Baptist Church (615 S Wittenberg Ave, Springfield, OH 45506). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Ferncliff Cemetery Ferncliff Cemetery (501 W McCreight Ave, Springfield, OH 45504).
Born on September 12, 1937, in Anna, Ohio, Philip was a loving father, devout church member, and dedicated veteran who made significant contributions to his family and community.
