She was predeceased by: her father Claudie Fowler; her son DeShon Leray Benton; and her grandmother Mildred Gomez. She is survived by: her mother Josephine Fowler (Gomez); her children, Robert Benton Jr. (Rudy), Damon Benton (Jazmine), India DeArmond, LaShanna DeArmond and Tyson DeArmond (Erica); her siblings, Lawanna Fowler, Leon Fowler, Dion Fowler, Derrick Silvan and Larry Silvan; her grandchildren, Jaimer, Janasia, Jhideja, Khori, Aliza, Anthony, Jaivion, Monty, Breyon, Taniyah, Jailynn, Eriana, Ja'Niyah, Zhiarah, Deona, Damon Jr., NaRay and Deshon Jr.; her grandfather Joe; her nieces, Nakesha DeArmond and Rhasharae Fowler; her cousin Keith Gilbreath; her close friend Erica Jones (Angie B. Gilbreath); and also, Robert Cobb, Christian DeArmond, Curtis DeArmond, Chris DeArmond Jr. and Briana DeArmond. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
