Richard Gregory Hoy Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2025, at the age of 68, Richard Gregory Hoy (Springfield, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Mable Jean Hoy; and his brother-in-law Michael Linthicum. He is survived by: his father Harry Allen Hoy; his siblings, Daniel Hoy, Michael Hoy (Lisa) and Deborah Linthicum; his friend Daniel Mattox; his siblings' children, Chad Linthicum (Tara), Travis Hoy, Erika Hoy and Tara Lowe (Rickey); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Eleanor, Piper, Joshua Ryder, Aubree, Aiden, Presley and Charlee.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center (2425 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
