We are sad to announce that, on January 1, 2024, at the age of 70, Richard L. DeWitt of Springfield, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Leo and Julia V. DeWitt, Sr. (Angelo); and his brother Joe DeWitt. He is survived by: his wife Christina DeWitt (Gicale); his children, Eric (Tara DeWitt), Lisa (Richard Shepherd) and Emily (Joel Hammond); and his grandchildren, Simone, Lilianne, Beau DeWitt, Kai, Ania Whitacre, Kyle, Jacob, Kira, Bailee Shepherd, Jonas and Callan Hammond. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
