He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Charles Fent. He is survived by: his wife Cindy (Bair); his children, Bryan (Lisa Temple), Corra (Tawon Hunter) and Kimmie (Mike Jensen); his siblings, Dottie (Bill Porter), David (Renee Temple), Shirley Ford, John Temple, Caroline Cunningham and Marilyn Neely; his cousin Barbara Grusenmeyer; and his close friends, Sue Riggsby and Sherry Smith. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
