With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita M. Price of Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on February 3, 2026 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Scanlan and Jennie Scanlan (Kirkpatrick); her husband Herbert; her son-in-law Carl Diehl; and her siblings, Marian Phares, JoAnne Vance and Paul Scanlan.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Diehl, Keith, Tina Price, Daniel and Karen Price; her grandchildren, Danielle (Zach Fisher) and Timothy (Krystal Price); her great grandchildren, Ethan, Caitlyn, Corinne Fisher, Fiona and Mara Price; her sister Frances Stokes; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Kelly. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Conroy Funeral Home (1660 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location.
