He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert R. Crowell and Janet Crowell (Ostrader); his daughter Martha Shetron; and his grandparents, Robert and Mildred Crowell.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie S. Grube-Crowell; his children, Linda Ruqus (David), Denise Geiger, Jonathan McDonald (Ron Rude) and Kristol McDonald; his grandchildren, Megan Bowles (Anthony), D. J. Ruqus, Lizzy Silva, Alec Brooke, Alexis Brooke, Renee Phillips, Jessica Cherry and Nathan Lough (Heather); and his great grandchildren, Samantha Bowles, Jason Bowles, Brooke Bowles, Thomas Phillips and John Major. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
