He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Purdy and Ethel Purdy; and his wife Karen Purdy. He is survived by: his siblings, Allen and Linda; his children, Jill K Christian (Ron) and Jonathan Purdy; his brother-in-law Roy Nachand; his nephews, Christopher and Adam; and his family, Lauren Mitchell and Spencer Mitchell.
