Rod A. Bishop Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rod A. Bishop in Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on February 17, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Rod leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Rod may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jody Bishop (Whip); his son Jason Bishop (Jennie); his grandchildren, Kendall and Reid Bishop; his father-in-law John Whip; his parents, Leonard Bishop and Emilie Bishop (Circle); and his mother-in-law Gayle Whip.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial contributions be made to the Pike Township Fire & EMS in Rod's honor.
