With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Dale Buckley Sr. in Springfield, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 20, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Roger may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Roger touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Laura Bryant and William J. Buckley; his siblings, Bill, Bob, Linda and Janet; his daughter Mary Payne; and his brother-in-law John Vanover.
He is survived by: his wife Naomi Buckley; and his children, Roger Dale Buckley Jr., Jodi Clifford, Dan Clifford (Marlyn) and Crystal Norton (Todd). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
