He is survived by: his siblings, William Channels (Carol) of Venice, California, Lawrence Carter Jr. of Springfield, Michael Carter of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Jeffrey Carter (Rachel) of Dallas, Texas, Annette Evans of Springfield, Ohio, Lenore Carter (Truman Harris) of Springfield, Ohio and Greta Riggins of Springfield, Ohio; his nieces, Stephanie Green Tunstall and Tasha Carter; and his nephew Corey Carter (Emily). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
