He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Glenn "Pitsy" and Mildred. He is survived by: his wife Patty Sue Pitts (Pepper); his children, Greg Pitts (Arleen), Kim Shumate (Tom), Jay Pitts (Kyra), Julie West (Gillis), Michael Pitts (Peggy), Jenny Herier (Bill), Trish Keplinger (Kevin) and Jeffery Glenn Pitts; his grandson Eric McCloskey; his sister JoEllen Blair; and his friend Pat Holman. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren with nineteen spouses; sixty-five great-grandchildren with one spouse; two great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
