It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rollin L. Smith of Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Rollin had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Rollin may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollin L. Smith, Sr. and Fern Smith (Buchholtz). He is survived by: his brother Philip; his sister-in-law Alice Smith; and his niece Eve Smith.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (30 S Wittenberg Ave, Springfield, OH 45502).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to First Lutheran Church, Springfield.
