With solemn reverence, we commemorate Ronald C. Fitzwater (Springfield, Ohio), whose life came to an end on June 15, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence and Evelyn (Crellin); and his siblings, Nick, Larry, Amos Fitzwater and Rose Steiger.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Fitzwater (Sheridan); his children, Tom Fitzwater (Lana) of Wichita, Greg VanVelzor (Missy), Jennifer Wilson (Jon) and Stephen VanVelzor (Vanessa) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Tatum, Adelaide Fitzwater, Liam, Landry Dean, Mandy Holbrook (Scott), Ryan (Brandon), Jared, Casey, Tanner (Grace) and Camden VanVelzor; and his great grandchildren, Griffin and Regan Holbrook. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Conroy Funeral Home (1660 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505). A Mass will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Raphael Church (225 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505).
