He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Vaught and Margaretta Vaught (Stone); his son Rick Vaught; his sisters, Audrey Lehnert and Rita Langdon; and his pet Lady.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille A. Vaught (Johnson); his children, Randy Vaught (Stephanie) and Rhonda Malone; his daughter-in-law Trudy Vaught; his grandchildren, Jason (Lori), Jeremy, Jessica, Lance (Shawna), Ryan (Jacqueline) and Joshua Compton (Amanda); and his great grandchildren, Zachary, Alec, Brooklyn, Malayla, Ashlyn, Aubrey, Sydney, Natalie, Andrew, Lauren, Jasman, Tyler, Aidan, Ava, Addison and Adley.
