He was predeceased by: his parents, Zed Lester and Elsie Lester (Carlton); and his siblings, Mae, Faye, James, Charles, Roger, Robert "Tuty" and Sharon Lester.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine; his children, Sheri McMurray (Don), Kathaleen "Kathy" Reeves (Dwayne) and Ron "Bodie" Lester (Kassie); and his siblings, Will Lester (Debbie), Christine Armey (Gary) and Margaret Laurents (Vince). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Ron.
