With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruth A. Lane of Springfield, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ruth left this world on December 8, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Greeley and Gertrude Greeley (Clark); her husband James E. Lane; and her brother Harold Greeley (Bonnie). She is survived by: her children, Beverly Pollock (Steve), David Lane (Karen) and Lisa Hines (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Jeremy Lane, Jessica Waddle (Mark), Audrey Cannestra (Joe), Cassie Moyer (Justin), Miles Lane (Ashley), Christi Harden (Mitch), Katie Holder (Zach), Kent Pollock (Amanda) and Nate Pollock (Jackie). She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center (2425 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Springfield First Baptist Church.
