She was predeceased by: her parents, James Figgins and Dorothy Figgins (Humphrey); her siblings, Teresa Michener, Barbara Hess, Michele Edington, Mary Figgins and Joseph Figgins; her son John Chaffin, Jr.; her grandson Tyler Chaffin; and her friend Sarah Jane Couch.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Tracey Blake (Kevin), Beth O'Neal (Craig), Kimberly Robbins (Michael Kruse), Kelly Hamm, Darcy Edington, Megan Edington (Brandon Johnson), Michele Street, Chris Hess, Chad Michener (Vicki Reed) and Sean Hess; her daughter-in-law Lisa Chaffin (Rob Benston); her daughter Heather Mershon (Joe); her grandchildren, Nikki Avery (Micah), McHale Kendall, Kelsi Neal (Kenny), Kendra Trumbo (Austin Moore) and Stephanie Chaffin; and her close friends, Vicky Collier and Larry Davis. She is also survived by several great nieces, great nephews, great-grandchildren.
