She is survived by: her children, David Nixon (Elizabeth) of Brownsville, TN and Cathey Nixon of Springfield; her siblings, Karon Bowman-Miller and Timothy Bowman (Mary); and her close friend Gloria Zumbrum. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
