She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester G. Martin Sr. and Frances Martin (Mabra); her siblings, Chester G. Martin Jr. and Cynthia Satterfield; her grandchildren, Kendra Artis and Kyle Artis II; her siblings-in-law, Tosca Moss, Charlie "Hattie" Davis, John Thomas, Guy Emmons III and Kenneth Satterfield; and her nephew Derrick Davis.
She is survived by: her husband Vernon "Juney" Artis; her children, Nicia "Mitchell" Artis, Kyle Artis and Bryan Artis I (Christina); her great grandchildren, Skylar Spears, Destiny Mosley, Bryan Artis III, Harmony Mosley, Bishop Artis, Carter Spears, Scarlet Spears, Leliana Carter, Ximena Carter and Maya Artis; her sisters, Deborah Davis and Dianna Martin; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Emmons and Daryl Artis (Theresa).
