He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Sherman and Dixie Sherman (Rice); his son Caleb Sherman; his siblings, Bill Sherman (Elouise), Betty Hill (Dick), Benny Sherman (Mary), Bob Sherman (Ilene), Bert Sherman (Janet), Jane Tull (Bernie), Janet Shipley, Glendine Fultz, Ed Sherman, Judy Michael, Yvonne Hampton, Lowell Sherman, Brenda Dixon (Gale) and Dick Sherman; his father-in-law Emerson Black Jr.; his nephews, Jimmy, Scott, Tony, Greg, Aaron Sherman, Steve, Mark Tobias and Tim Tull; and his great-nephews, Clint Potter and Ryan Tobias.
He is survived by: his wife Julie; his children, Amber Whitlow (Justin), Ian Sherman (Sara), Adam Stewart (Hailey) and Canyon Bostick (Kenzie); his grandchildren, Caleb, Avery, Wyatt, Elija, Addison, Oliver, Everley, Sammy, Nehemiah, Harper, Wrenley, Trinity, Caylee and Mackie; his mother-in-law Judy Black; and his siblings-in-law, Tena Shafer, Barbara Sherman, Diane Sherman, Goldie Sherman, Gerry Shafer, Roger Fultz, Rick Michael and Larry Hampton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
