He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Rigel and Carolyn Rigel; his uncles, Bob and Louie Rigel (Doll); his sister Terry Sue Rigel; and his stepbrothers, Rob and Doug Oesterle.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Rigel (Herold); his siblings, Steve Rigel (Vickie) and Lynette Amato (Vince); his stepsister Cindy Frye (John); his children, Jamie, Timmy, Nick, Ryan (Amy) and Liz Rigel (Jess); and his grandchildren, TJ Rigel (Stephanie), Alli Prior (Jess), Marcus Rigel, Kyle Cooper (Kelly), Nick Rigel, Jr. (Caitlyn), Olivia, Chris, Clara Rigel, Wesley, Haiden and Camden Rigel. He is also survived by two great grandchildren and counting; numerous extended family members; close friends.
