She was predeceased by: her parents, John Johnson and Eulah Johnson; her son Tom Rowell; and her siblings, Charles Johnson, Wayne Johnson and Diane Rigsby.
She is survived by: her husband Stanley E. Rowell; her son Randy Rowell; her granddaughters, Nicole Bell and Amy Jones; and her sisters, Oleda Baker, Bonnie Boblitt and Sue Jones. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
