He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil and Susan McWhorter Sr. (Jones); his siblings, Wanda McWhorter and Charlie McWhorter; and his son Monte McWhorter.
He is survived by: his son Henry "Marty" McWhorter; and his friends, Jeffrey Tolliver and Arlin "Par" Tolliver (Wanda Roberts).
