He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Salyers and Phyllis Salyers (Suttles); his former wife Annette Salyers; and his brother Michael Salyers. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Salyers (Warren); his children, Anson Lowery (Melissa), Jerry Salyers (Eby), Benjamin Salyers (Tiffany), Priscilla Warren, Amanda Sumner, Floyd Sumner (Ashley Chochard), Russell Sumner (Kara), Kevin Sumner, Brandi Sumner, Walter Sumner (Salena), Crystal Sumner, Amy Pollard, Wendy Pollard and Terry Pollard; and his siblings, Tammy Newman (Tom), Aaron Salyers, Lavona Salyers (Mike), Honey (Ryan) and Davina. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Victory Faith Center (424 S Fountain Ave, Springfield, OH 45505). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
