He is survived by: his children, Angie Smith, Ginny Adams and William E. Caulfield, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jacob Smith, Matthew, Allyson Adams, Sean and Andrea Caulfield; his great grandchildren, Ayla McFarland of Jocy Smith, R. J. and Lily Adams; and his siblings, Sandy Penwell (Jerry) and Cindy Bracken (Richard). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
