He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Thomas and Ree Thomas (Lowe); and his brother Richard Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Thomas (Brown); his children, Matthew Thomas (Jenny), Devin Thomas (Robyn) and Mara Koson (Aric); and his grandchildren, Gwyneth Thomas, Seth Thomas, Anna Thomas, Isaiah Thomas, Noah Thomas, Marnie Thomas, Elizabeth Koson and Ryan Koson.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (638 S Fountain Ave, Springfield, OH 45505).
