He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smotherman (Gene) and Linda L. Smotherman (Jackson); his sister Deborah Smith; his girlfriend Gail Nelson; and his former wife Charlene Whitman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mishele Pries (David), Shauna Ruggles (Brian Maibach) and Kelly Becerra (Aaron); his grandchildren, Jacob Pries (Lynsi), Adam Pries, Kaylee Ruggles, Caleb Ruggles, Brianna Becerra, Jaxson Becerra, Emma Becerra and Samuel Dalton Taylor; his daughter Kristina Stone (Timothy); and his sisters, Linda Adkins (Ernie), Theresa Halliwell and Yvonne Smotherman.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Auble-Gillman Funeral Home (360 W Sunset Dr, Rittman, OH 44270). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
