He was predeceased by: his parents, Deacon Rufus and Sister Willie Mae Blackwell; his sisters, Clorinda Jeter and Valerie Blackwell; his wife Constance "Connie" Blackwell; and his children, Albert John "AJ" Blackwell and Rajni "NiNi" Faulks.
He is survived by: his daughter Terri "Red" Faulks; his brothers, Roy Blackwell (Regina) of Wintersville and Harold G. "Geno" Blackwell (Lydia) of Steubenville, Ohio.; and his cousin Robert L. Blackwell Sr. (Vinnie) of Wintersville.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gregory-Martin Funeral Home, Steubenville Chapel (255 S 7th St, Steubenville, OH 43952).
