He was predeceased by: his father Harry "Matt" Kessler; his uncle Francis Russell; his aunt Joyce Bane; Christine LeMasters. He is survived by: his mother Linda Sommer (Russell) of Steubenville, OH; his sisters, Tammy Dixon of Brilliant and Debbie DiAlbert (Kandy Klosterman) of Westerville, OH; his aunts, Jayne Wallace (Keith) of Cadiz, OH, Ricki Kessler and Rodger Hanson of Wisconsin; and his nieces, Lauren Turnbull, Bria Dixon, Mara Dixon, Emily DiAlbert, Ethan Turnbull, Xavier Turnbull and Kessler Turnbull.

“I heard about this last year, well after the event. I would not look at it until tonight when Linda Mom) messaged me about something else. Let me tell you about some memories of this young man. Playing on the cardinals in little league, so much fun. I literally taught him the words to "Some one Saved My Life Tonight" in the bed of dads truck and we sang it loud.
