It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Smogor of Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on April 16, 2026, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Smogor and Arlene Smogor (Mack); her sister MaryAnn Donnelly; her nephew Robert Barnes; and her former husband Joseph Brancazio.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Brancazio (Brandon Arnold) of Steubenville, Samual Brancazio of Steubenville and Joshua Brancazio (Sheronda Lackey) of Wintersville; her aunt Clara Turner of Amsterdam; her siblings, Susan Boehke (William) of Wintersville, John Smogor (Mary) of Orlando, FL, Cas Smogor (Brandi) of Steubenville and Fran Smogor of Steubenville; her pets, Newton, Titten and Velveeta; Beanz. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, one great niece, and four great nephews.
