He is survived by: his wife Debbie Barnes (Wardeska); his children, Zachary Barnes and Katie Hitt (Jeremy) of Wellsville, OH; his siblings, Joy Flanagan (Roger) of Leesburg, VA, Susan Barnes of Follansbee, WV and Thomas Barnes, II (Sharon) of Weirton; his stepdaughters, Mary Smith, Amy Wade and JoAnn Wardeska; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Hitt, Avery Hitt, Lilli, Cooper Smith, Malcolm, Miles Wade, Sadie Wright and Ryder Unkefer; his friend Pamela (late John Fithen) of Steubenville; and his pet Bella.
