He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Hawkins Montgomery (Lizzy); and his brother Wise God Allah (Grier Montgomery). He is survived by: his sister Lawana Montgomery of Steubenville, OH; his half-sister Gloria Richardson; his children, Quay Brown of Chicago, IL, Treynier Palmer of San Francisco, CA, Brandon Garrison of Steubenville, OH, Pierre Wade of Columbus, OH, Rainey Wade of Columbus, OH, Lyric Montgomery of Columbus, OH, Eric Montgomery of Steubenville, OH, Erica Montgomery of Steubenville, OH and William Luke (Texas); his girlfriend April Johnson of Pittsburgh, PA; and his friend Royal Mayo. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
