She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin B. Mayle and Anna Mae Bateman-Mayle; her husband Dwight Reed; her siblings, Rachel, Carrie, Robert, Lloyd, Calvin, Eleanor, David and Roger; her grandson Joey; and her great grandchild Jude.

She is survived by: her brother Charles Mayle of Hopewell, VA. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
