He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Everett and Nell Everett (Thompson); his son John T. Everett, Jr.; his siblings, Nathan C. Everett, Jr. (Dean) and Gwen Clinton (Sam); and his son-in-law Ronnie McArthur.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce L. Everett (Hudock); his children, Melanie Everett McArthur of Moss Point, MS, Kathy Woollard (Tim) of Vienna, WV, Leigh Ann Scott (Jimmy) of Ocean Springs, MS and Matthew Everett (Jennifer) of San Jose, CA; and his siblings, Mary Ann Everett of Ridgeland, MS and Dr. Walter Everett (Shirley) of Ellisville, MS. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
