John Serafini Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Serafini of Steubenville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oreste Serafini and Lillian Serafini (DiFilippo); his grandson Gregory; and his siblings, Carmine, Rita and Carmella.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sons, John, Michael and Gregory; his daughter-in-law Jennifer; his grandchildren, John, Carlo, Gabe and Anthony; and his sister-in-law Margie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel (4435 Sunset Blvd, Steubenville, OH 43952). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (2608 Hollywood Blvd, Steubenville, OH 43952).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Steubenville Catholic Central High School in his honor, 320 West View, Steubenville, OH 43952.
